Apple Basket

Used for apple picking when designed - an example of a double bottomed basket - the double bottom helped cradle the fruit gently and the extra spokes made the sides sturdier.Handles can be swing or fixed. 8" - 10" -12" diams.

Candle Basket

Baskets were used in colonial days to store a few fresh candles, away from mice, until they were needed. Candles were made from tallow; rendered animal fat and attractive to vermin. Often larger amounts of candles were kept in tin containers.

Swirling Star

Swirling Stars can be done round or oval. Space dyed weavers and plain spokes or dyed spokes and plain weavers.
